As the new year settles in, winter at Primrose Secret Garden becomes a season of quiet and reflection. The garden sleeps under a blanket of frost, resting and regenerating after the busy growing season. It’s a peaceful moment in the cycle of nature, a chance to pause before the awakening of spring.
Our bees, too, embrace the rhythm of the season. Tucked safely in their hives, they huddle together to keep the queen warm and well-fed. Even in this period of hibernation, their work is crucial for the health and survival of the colony, ensuring they’ll be ready to emerge when the first blossoms arrive.
For me, winter is also a time to rejuvenate. After the bustling holiday season and months of tending to the garden, bees, and our handmade products, I take this time to recharge both personally and for the business. It’s a time to dream and plan for the new planting season and prepare for the busy months ahead.
To honor this natural downtime, I’ll be closing both the online store and the atelier shop for one month. This pause allows me to focus on preparing new ideas and creations for when the garden begins to stir again in March. I look forward to reopening refreshed, with new energy and inspiration for the year ahead.
Wishing you all a restful and rejuvenating winter. Thank you for your continued support, and I’ll see you when the first signs of spring begin to emerge!
Warm regards,
Jennifer Rohr
